In Christianity we are not trying to be something or someone, instead we are discovering who we already are and what we already have in Christ. The Bible is the mirror that reveals who we already are. Some think we study the Bible to find out who we are supposed to be but that is not the case. We study the Bible to discover who we are in Christ already.
