Description

This week, we’re joined by survivor Julie Carrol and her husband Joe. In this interview, Julie shares her pancreatic cancer journey from her first symptoms to the present day while Joe offers caretaker advice and shares some of his perspective as a medical professional.

Tune in for a valuable discussion on traveling and celebrating life, “filling out your calendar in pencil” to remain flexible while fighting pancreatic cancer, and overcoming the stigma of a Stage IV pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On top of battling pancreatic cancer and celebrating life, Julie and Joe also lead a charity group called Aiden’s Army in honor of their son who unfortunately passed away due to a heart condition known as Tetralogy of Fallot. You can learn more about Aiden’s Army and the charitable work the Carroll family is involved in at https://www.facebook.com/AidenCarrollArmy.
