This week, we’re joined by pancreatic cancer survivor Angela Bonner from Norfolk, VA. She is currently undergoing chemo and is a Whipple candidate with a powerful mindset. Bonner is faithful and focused on uplifting others while maintaining a positive outlook throughout her own battle.
In this episode, Angela shares her journey from first symptoms through diagnosis and up to the present day while also sharing her valuable advice - especially when it comes to accepting the reality of pancreatic cancer without letting it define her.
One of the major things she believes has helped to provide her with her strong mindset is the presence of other strong women and role models in her life - one of which is her sister Pam Locust, who is an oral cancer survivor. Pam joined us on the show as well to provide her own perspective while also supporting Angela. You can tell by our discussion that their bond as sisters is incredibly strong.
