Chris Facey is a photojournalist and documentarian currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina by way of Brooklyn, New York. We talk about being exposed to art at a young age because of his mom working at the MET (The Metropolitan Museum of Art), his initial love for drawing and graffiti, obtaining his first camera from his aunt, coming to a crossroads between choosing to become a photographer or dental school and his approach to shooting the softer side of black communities.
