Dwelling under the guilt of my past trespasses
Scheming the horizon to see if my train passes
Falling asleep in her deep eyes got me traumatized
I once agreed to take a path renewed with a holy sight
Can’t stop watching her, her face got me paralyzed
Seconds of pleasure, for a whole life of compromise
Saw her chilling with them other guys, made me drink a cup of lies
The bitter the beverage, the bigger those dreams I un-memorize
Am I born to sin? Or born to win?
Born to show and wave the truth or Hide it within?
Can’t stop lookingatmyfailures as I walk on my path
Strong consequences of sin asIreminisce on my past
Who am I? … Who do I follow?
To live is Christ and to die is a gain, wasn’t it the motto?
… My lack of faith sometimes gets me desperate
But thank God, his timing is never running late
B:
Though we know what we want
Never should have crossed this road that we on
I found a way; I gotta say, we don’t do what they do
No time to waste, I gotta pray, we won’t move how they move
R: I just wanna see – passion and purity, active maturity living for His glory alone (x4)
Hard-looking, heart-breaking, unfocused on the Lord’s giving
Mirror-crashing, sin-hiding, will I get up another morning?
… You’re losing even more when you’re living to earn
When everything else falls apart, you’re dying to burn
Enlightened at the time, envy votes for my demise
Darkened minds got me the whole process un-dramatized
Voices and warning can’t be heard by those playing with death
Sleepers either because the sleep is the cousin of deaf
Nothing but dust… Yeah I am supposed to fade away
Nothing but love… God will always help me find a way
He who forgives with Grace and love when we have mistaken
He who shared His own Son, who’s been forsaken
He who deserves all the glory, He who is The Almighty
He who bled for me so I could see and share eternity
We don’t get to choose God because He chooses us
All of our lives have a purpose under God’s green earth
