Who do you think you are? Part 2
The most important facet of our identity in Christ is that of a son or daughter. Romans 8 tells us that the Spirit we have received is the Spirit of adoption or sonship by Whom we can cry out to God as "Abba (meaning daddy, poppa) and Father". We may have many differing roles in life, but when a function begins or ends it is vital to be firmly rooted in who we are as sons and daughters.
Jesus came to reconcile us to the Father. He taught us to pray "our Father" when we pray. Enjoy this short teaching on the Fatherhood of God and our relationship with Him.
