The Portland Center Stage take of The Oregon Trail is a reimagined version of our beloved CD-Rom game, "The Oregon Trail". The play, living both in the game and live versions, also includes a "then" and "now" aspect to it thanks to the brilliant machinations of playwright Bekah Brunstetter. That allows us to get a feel for the often desperate journey so many undertook in 1848, the very now of a Millenials age. Leif Norby plays both the omnipotent Voice of The Oregon Trail as well as Jane's father, Clancy.
