My youngest son unexpectedly passed away a few weeks ago (January 12, 2018 at 11:50pm) in a freak accident at the age of 20.

If everything's turned around like they said?
What color are the trees on the other side?
If everything's turned around, are they dead?
Is it wise to ask yourself all these questions why?
With all of these thoughts and fears in my mind
It doesn't matter the depth of your question, "why"
If the answer is always, 'why, why, why'
What color is the ocean on the other side
If everything's turned around in my head
Is your heart still beating on the other side?
'Cause if everything's turned around, you're not dead.
Is it wise to ask yourself all these questions why?
With everything going on in my mind
It doesn't matter the depth of the questions, 'why'
If the question is always "why, why, why ... "

That you just had to be 'there' to do
Would it have mattered much on the other side
If I went with you?
Can I go with you?
Is it wise to ask yourself all these questions why?
Especially when I'm feeling left behind.
