These passages highlight the different journeys that we as Christians can have with God; from being super happy ad having God claiming us to be His own to feeling scared and worried or angry. We all have different journeys and these passages assure us that although the road is narrow sometimes and we feel like we can't go on, God's promise will always prevail. They show us that when we get tired and can't go on anymore, God carries and takes us to the other side.
