We chatted with sound recordist Ann Kroeber about her latest sound effects library release, Cinematic Winds, recently released by Pro Sound Effects. Throughout their careers, Kroeber and her late partner Splet created an extensive (and still growing) private archive of recordings known as Sound Mountain – a sound effects service providing custom selections from the archive for many award-winning films and video games.
