Is it good or bad to be mad? The New Testament says bad, but of course God and Jesus get angry. Jesus gets angry for the sake of a man experiencing injustice. We tend to get angry because of our ego, not injustice. Even when mad for compassionate reasons, we tend to remain inactive. If anger can ever be righteous, it should be rare, for the sake of another, and producing compassionate action.
