Beautiful Patience was started back in summer 2014. The place it came from was not really the best in my time. I was out of a job, quickly burning through my savings while I was full of energy and wanted to... for lack of better words, "Change the world". I felt paralyzed. I had a shield up from love. But yet, in that period of my life is when I realized my values and my direction. It was a time of religious reflection. Beautiful Patience is a direct translation from the Quran stating that God will reward those who exert beautiful patience... Which brings us to Gratitude...
Gratitude was legit almost fully improvised! Even the Drums! I got a job in a fantastic place. I finally was able to show potential. After a conversation about music in the office, I came back home. Plugged the keyboard in and played what became Gratitude. It was out of pure thankfulness to all that was happening to me. It's amazing how with some dedication and patience life shows it's beautiful face.
I hope you find inspiration in those tracks as it is the season to give Gratitude. Wherever you are in life, just put in that beautiful patience and gratitude will 100% follow
