Hey everyone, I wanted to challenge myself a little with this song, I wrote the entire thing in the Phrygian Dominant scale, which is a scale a rarely play in. I also played in open D tuning which I also rarely play in. It was a challenge, but I am pretty proud of some of the riffs that came out of this.
The Phrygian Dominant scale is that typical Ancient Egyptian/Middle Eastern/Arabic sort of sound, and I tried to lean in to that when writing the music. I hope you like it, thanks for listening.
