Following the theme of my last song Where Comets Fall i wanted to try writing in another unfamiliar key, it makes for some fun and unique riffs.
There are some fun guitar moments in this song but i am actually more proud of the drums i wrote/chose for this piece and the various cut aways/fills etc. I think it keeps the song exciting and interesting, and its not often in my songs i let the drums take the spotlight.
The chorus was pretty unique too with it's stop/start, call/response nature. One of the reasons why i chose to call it Embracing Madness. (The image is from Night Reign, i love that game).
