This podcast features the poems of Kajal Ahmad from Kurdistan, translated by Mimi Khalvati and Choman Hardi. The recording includes nine different poems read first in English translation by Mimi Khalvati and then in Kurdish by Choman Hardi. The poems are read in the same order as they appear in the chapbook of Kajal's poems which we published in 2008.
