Megan Gates joined the Security Management team in 2013 after graduating from Missouri State University. She holds a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism with a minor in Film Studies. During her time as an undergrad, she was the editor-in-chief of the university's award-winning student newspaper, The Standard, and was named the 2013 Missouri College Media Association's Journalist of the Year. In addition to being published by Security Management and The Standard, her work's been published by Reuters, USA TODAY College, The Springfield Business Journal, The Cedar Rapids Gazette, Celebrate Arkansas Magazine, and The Joplin Globe.
