Have you ever thought about emergency preparedness at work? What happens if an earthquake hits in the middle of your workday? This podcast episode highlights one of our speakers from the institute's 2018 Fall Symposia on Emergency Preparedness. Steven Eberlein is the Corporate Resilience Director at Tipping Point LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in earthquakes that helps create cultures of preparedness. Steve previously worked at the American Red Cross for nine years. In 2016, he created Prepare Out Loud, a presentation focused on challenging the Pacific Northwest on creating a culture of preparedness for the Cascadia subduction zone earthquake.
