I am blessed to have friends all over the world.
In the beginning of the global lockdown, many people in marginalized communities contacted me about how they, and their communities, were being adversely affected, including hunger, food shortages, starvation.
One of these people was Daniel Ankrah in Accra, Ghana.
I was able to get on a call with him a few days ago and have him share a firsthand account of what the lockdown is currently like in Ghana,.
Daniel’s connection on the call was difficult to hear at times.
So I called upon my wonderful son, Giovanni Piergrossi, to do some sound editing on this episode and clean it up a bit.
The media has largely ignored these stories and these voices,
My intention with this episode is that those voices are heard.
And that we raise our awareness in hearing these voices and do what we can in response.
Thanks as always for being here,
