A walk along Big Sky’s Black Diamond Trail is a great way to get out for some exercise and fresh air without committing to a long day. Starting from the middle of town, this well-traveled dirt trail climbs quickly into the trees before leveling off and winding through open meadows, sage, and occasional forest cover. Along the way, you’ll be treated to surprisingly expansive views of Big Sky and the surrounding landscape. When you reach the end, you can double back or meander along the Little Willow Way gravel path to return to the trailhead.
