Tucked against the border of Yellowstone National Park south of Big Sky, Teepee Creek Trail is a wonderful three-season excursion. The trail meanders through wide-open meadows, while the peaks of the Gallatin Range tower above you. In the fall, the aspens that dot the meadows provide spectacular bursts of orange and yellow, and the peaks are often dusted with a sprinkling of snow. From the highpoint of the trail, you can turn south to the park, head north to the Buffalo Horn Cabin, or head back down to the trailhead to complete a casual afternoon adventure.
