Good morning Alberto 😊
I hope you agree to answer a few random and fun questions to share with our listeners?
* Yes of course, really excited to get into and have fun. Let’s get ready to rumble!! *
To start you off tell us what song puts you in a good mood when you wake up in the morning?
*It’s great that you ask me about it cause the other day I was thinking about which track could kick my ass from the bed and bring me the good vibes to start the day and the choice was: Teddy Pendergrass - You Can't Hide (Dimitri From Paris Remix*
Now should you ever, but let’s hope not, be stuck on an island, which music album would you bring with you and why?
*No doubt, I will bring with me “Off The Wall” or “Thriller” from MJ. He is always a good ally to be stuck anywhere. I always answered the same, but it’s the truth. For me, no matter what kind of music genre we're talking about, the best artist, what it means to be an artist, was, is & will be Michael Jackson.*
Moving on to serious issues, what is your favourite cocktail to drink during a sunset?
*Easy, CUBA LIBRE. Mr. Cuba Libre some people call me. Still don’t know if it’s good or not.*
Once the global pandemic is over, which festival would be the one you would go to first and why? (it could be a club, if you got no festival in mind)
*Well, cause this year I will have the chance to play in a festival in September, I will say a club. Sisyphos could be perfectly the spot to kick off the clubbing season again. I love the club. I meet my girlfriend there, I released on Sisyphos’ label, love the team and to play there it’s always a pleasure. If you've had a chance to be there, you know what I'm talking about.*
Which artist/band do you secretly love but you are embarrassed to admit? (i.e. you have been to their concert, you know the lyrics.)
*Mmmmm, tricky question. Well I used to listen a lot and sometimes still do, “Mana”. The MTV unplugged that they did in 1999 its good shit. It is easier to understand / enjoy if you are a Spanish speaker but it is something, I recommend everyone to listen to.*
If you could open a show for any artist, who would it be and why?
*Now it comes to my mind a lot artist who I love, but If I need to choose someone from the electronic music scene, I will say Masters at Work,*
Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit of your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose?
*Just like when I perform at a club, with the podcasts, I never think about what I'm going to play. I just get carried away by the moment, my mood, the natural development of the set. I like to play with spontaneity. To feel more and think less.*
Thank you Alberto for your time and wonderful mix
