Good morning Simon & Miro 😊
➢Tell us what song puts you in a good mood when you wake up in the morning?
That's a tricky question, there's so many of them :) It really depends on the day and the mood we wake up in. It can range from Hip Hop to Reggea, Rock or Disco. For now let's go with Steve Monites classic “Only You”.
➢Where would be the best place to take us to enjoy a sunset in Lucerne or Zurich?
In Lucerne anywhere on the lake with a nice view on Pilatus. In Zurich probably Simons rooftop terrace ;)
➢How did you two end up making music together?
We were longtime friends who always shared a similar taste in music and often visited events and concerts together. One day we rather spontaneously just started to try out some stuff on Traktor and one thing let to another.
➢What is one of your favourite events to go to or play at in Switzerland?
Definitely the Am Bach Festival. It's a highlight for us every year. It's just amazing to see how it started out and what it developed into. Many of the people in the team are friends of ours and we also try to support them during the festival each year with stuff like stage managing or artist care. So it's a really special experience for us.Last year they sadly had to cancel it due to obvious reasons, so this year we look even more forward to it.
➢Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit of your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose?
For this mix we tried to create a warm and cheerful vibe, something we would imagine playing or hearing in a nice place at sunset. We feel like this summer could have been kinder to us in terms of weather, so with this mix we tried to put ourselves and hopefully the listeners in a good summer mood. The tracks included are mostly stuff we gathered in the last months and didn't really had the chance yet to play in front of an audience. There's also an unreleased track of ourselves included, which we are very fond of and very happy to finally show to people with this mix. Let's see if you can guess which one ;)
