We also delved into the importance of reading for children, and how literature can help children learn about different cultures and traditions. Toba jan spoke about the role of her Afghan heritage in her writing and how it has influenced her work.
Food is also an essential aspect of any culture, and we couldn't resist talking about the delicious Afghan dish Mantu. Toba jan talked about her love for this dish and how it plays a significant role in her family's traditions.
Overall, it was a fantastic conversation filled with insights into the world of writing for children, cultural diversity, and the importance of preserving traditions. I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it.
