All, this song has a story - a small miracle if you will, so this long description is unusual, but it is worthy of leaving the total story. My wife, Melody, has been a long-suffering person with so many physical maladies, it would take too long to list them. However, she has recently been following new diets, new medical protocols and has had a breakthrough unlike any in her life. This song poured out of me after finding out her amazing day and I cannot believe that is coincidence, so I've name it in honor of her victory of gaining more health, and in gratitude for God Who's Hand must be involved in this. I've gone a bit far in writing what happened and wanted to post those words from my wife herself, so here they are:
I've been sick for so long that the healing journey seemed never ending. Now that I'm beginning to see the other side of that journey and the fruits of my struggle to wellness, I've been feeling so much gratitude and joy for my new found energy and vitality.
I walk our dog Honey Girl every day regardless of how I feel, and yesterday as we journeyed through the neighborhood for an hour, enjoying the glorious weather, I felt something I may never have felt before, at least not for so long and at one stretch.
I felt gratitude and joy, but more than that, a clear and present connection to Spirit walking with us. Regardless of daily challenges still occurring, I felt complete Peace, Freedom, Love and Joy. I was totally and naturally present in the moment and I felt God's presence totally with me.
"Ah,", I thought, "this is how we were meant to experience Life, trusting the beauty in each of our precious moments.
Me again - so who knows, perhaps this song has the Healing Essence of God - it moved me as I found the music form and take place and I'm just grateful to have written it along with my wife's wonderful healing experience.
