This song serves as a musical baptism of sorts for me. It's about new beginnings and fresh starts.
Lyrics for Wash
Violet eyes on me
Ruby red things in my dreams
All your colors try twice try thrice
And once I dream in white imagine I'm finally free
To be
And let the rain the wash over me
And let the rain the wash over me
It’s alright
She’s alright
I’m alright
It’s alright, alright…
Colors, feelings, nuance subtle shades of blue
Process this a minute then i'm coming back to you
Can you give me something more than what you think i deserve
Tell me something- anything i've never heard
And let the rain the wash over me
And let the rain the wash over me
It’s alright
She’s alright
I’m alright
It’s alright, alright…
