and filled them up with concrete
Ive Had dispairing spells of signing on the dole
Ive been an alcoholic
and i have been a thief
ive dabbled in narcotics
been in trouble with the police
Ive had my share of street fights
Ive broken young girls hearts
And I have been a casual racist
back in the distant past
But ive also been courageous
Ive been there for my friends
And I have now stopped counting
all the money that ive lent
And I have been an artist
And ive been citizen void
