Hat and coat and scarf and blinkers on
it might be time to go outside
Leave the house and see whats going on
and try and take it all in my stride
Looking around im sensing mass disquiet
Is this the calm before the riot?
And the Godless lovers preach at us in vain
Are spider crawling in our veins?
Are we pissing in the wind?
reeling from our own chagrin
Can you feel the static in the air
looking round we're all so charged
its enough to raise your hairs
but we're traveling blind, by and large
Traveling blind, we've got our blinkers on
Traveling blind, t'ward the end of the sun
Theres an unnatural feeling
an underlying sense of fear
Like theres something out there watching us
from beyond this tiny sphere
And people turn on each other
and they hunt in packs like wolves
and they're picking off the weak ones
tell me Is this how we fall?
