The International Monetary Fund is warning that the risk of recession in many countries is growing as rising interest rates and fears of a banking crisis rock the global economy. Australia won't be spared from any fallout with economic growth downgraded to 1.6 percent this year providing a bleak backdrop to next month's Federal Budget.
