NBN Company chief executive Stephen Rue says broadband has been the "digital backbone of the economy" during the pandemic. Mr Rue believes that while a "hybrid" return to work model is likely, it might not work for all businesses. Mr Rue also brushes off questions about a potential sale of the NBN to the commercial work, saying that's a decision for the federal government.
