State and federal politicians rank poorly an ethics index, just above real estate agents. A survey from the Governance Institute says while the perception of politicians has improved, they still rank in the five bottom professions. Journalists are also in the bottom ten, but rank better than social media platforms and payday lenders. Governance Institute chief executive Megan Motto speaks with ABC's Peter Ryan.
