Zachery speaks with Jaamil Olawale Kosoko, creator of Séancers, coming to the Wexner Center December 6-8, 2018. In this bold, radical performance work, Kosoko takes on the racialized body, systemic oppression, and personal loss, conjuring a viscerally intense journey into the black experience. Jaamil and André touch on time travel, as well as issues of representation, self care, and developing a loose community of like-minded artists around the country.
