Setup Diagram – Unlock314 Room Session
This session is built around the Elektron Digitakt II acting as the main rhythm machine and MIDI sequencer.
Drum Section
Tracks 1–7 of the Digitakt II are used to trigger TR-909 drum samples, forming the core drum pattern for the session.
MIDI Sequencing
The Digitakt II also sequences external synthesizers via MIDI:
• Track 9 → Bassline from a 303-style bass synth
• Track 10 → Pluck sound from Roland JX-8P
• Track 11 → Pad sound from Roland JUNO synthesizer series
Organ
The organ part is played independently on the Yamaha YC61, using its rock organ engine.
Audio Routing
All instruments are routed via line outputs into the Antelope Audio Discrete 8 Pro.
Recording
The performance is recorded directly into Logic Pro.
