For the final podcast of 2016, we get a fascinating insight into what it was like to grow up in Ireland in the middle of the last century. Tadgh O’Donoghue was raised on Valentia Island in the Kingdom of Kerry; graduated from UCD, and eventually became a partner in PWC where he played a pivotal role in attracting foreign investment into the country. Like most Kerrymen, he is a Gaelic football fanatic and tells us all about the most popular sport in Ireland. We also discuss the future of capitalism and the factors that lead to economic crashes, the rise of Trump, inequality, and the current populist dissention that is spreading across our world.
