Description

In 1990 the band Sikter formed on a whim when a group of drunk friends, bored with the standard of music at a concert they were attending, stormed the stage, kicked the headline act off and proceeded to take over the gig. 27 years later, they are still going strong as one of Eastern Europe’s most famous and pioneering acts. The founder and lead singer joins the pod to recount a crazy, Spinal-Tap-like journey that has seen collaborations with the likes of Bono, famous Italian rocker Vasco Rossi and Luciano Pavarotti. Their first album, nine years in the making, was produced by Brian Eno.
