Description

“We are on the brink of an ecological mega-crisis, threatening the future of life on earth, and our actions over the next few years may well determine the destiny of our descendants” – Daniel Pinchbeck, futurist & philosopher.

The Russell Brand-esque Jamie McIvor joins the pod to talk environment, sustainability, climate change and the future of our planet. With a wisdom, positivity and spirituality beyond his years, he provides a simple and clear understanding of why fossil fuels and carbon capture storage are not viable solutions as the world sleepwalks to a precarious pollution tipping point. He is currently pioneering a mould-breaking, anaerobic, biotechnology process that mirrors mother nature, and one which if implemented, would not only reduce carbon from the atmosphere, but potentially remove it altogether. Jamie explains how a near-death snowboarding accident caused him to rethink his career path and we also learn what it is like to live on a barge in central London.
