One of the world’s most renowned and awarded commercial and artistic photographers joins the podcast today. Simon takes us through his life journey from growing up in Buckinghamshire as the son of a famous poet, to his creative development in Australia and his eventual move to New York. In 2013, Simon had the honour of taking the last portraits of one of Ireland’s literary greats – Seamus Heaney – prior to the Nobel prizewinner’s death in August of that year.
