One of the world’s foremost music producers joins the pod today to share his life journey and wisdom. Born in New York and a classically trained musician and drummer, he has lent his multifarious talents to a host of album projects from a range of highly influential bands such as Passion Pit, Friendly Fires, Harlem Shakes, St Lucia and The Walkmen. Disillusioned with the collapse of the music industry in the US, he relocated to London in 2016 and set up The Dairy recording studio in Brixton. We discuss the future of the music industry and the importance of not overthinking things when it comes to creativity. His other big passion is politics…which predictably led to a chat through the current Trump carnage.
