Description

Award-winning, English filmmaker John Lynch shares his passion, creativity, beliefs and life story. His recent music video, “Crackle Pop” for Human Pyramids, is an extraordinary, beautiful, VR exploration of synesthesia (a perceptual phenomenon of the senses where people see images when they hear sound).

He is also videographer-in-residence for (and unofficial fifth member of) the math rock band, Axes.
We discuss the current state of the world, from taxation to tribalism; the rise of identity politics and The Intellectual Dark Web, spearheaded by the likes of Jordan Petersen and Sam Harris.

In collaboration with screenwriter Jon Williams-Nobbs, his award-winning, dystopian short-film “Eddie” is a stunning exploration of futility, isolation, capitalism and existentialism. This chat is a must-listen for any aspiring filmmakers, as he gives advice on the importance of fearlessly jumping into things and getting them done early in life. We also discuss some of our favourite movies (where you’ll learn why “Ghostbusters” (sic) may just be one of the greatest movies of all time!)
