The Lord is our banner and as long as we proudly lift Him up as Lord and follow His plan and represent Him faithfully, we cannot be defeated. Even when Christ was crucified, he was not defeated. For in drinking the bitter cup placed in His hands, Christ defeated sin and death and rose to new life on the third day. We too will rise to new life when we follow the standard of Christ.
