What can I say? NYC is an amazing place. I was fortunate enough to spend a few days out there recently, and I was invited to play a set at the famed club Verboten for a lovely Saturday Brunch event. I'll be honest -- I'm used to playing in Chicago -- so when I'm invited to play in another city, I sort of rethink what I want to play, as many people in attendance have possibly never heard me play and I want to leave a good impression. What I decided to go with for this event was a combination of productions/edits of mine, an assortment of tried and true selections that do a good job of showcasing my range of sounds, and a few fresh selections to round everything out. I had a great time this day, and it helped make this trip to NYC the best one for me yet. Thank you's go out to Verboten and to Lucca Mentone & Raffael De Luca for having me on board the event! Can't wait to come back to your incredible town.
