O Holy Spirit, enter Thou
And with Thy gift, our hearts endow,
Thy temple deign to make us.
Our soul’s true sun, Thou light divine,
Around and in us brightly shine,
To joy and gladness wake us.
Truly, Newly
All are given
Life from heaven
Who implore Thee;
We in prayer now come before Thee.

O give Thy Word impressive power,
That in our hearts, from this good hour,
As fire It may be glowing;
That we confess the Father Son,
And Thee. the Spirit, three in one,
True God, all-wise, all-knowing.
Bide now:
Guide Thou
Our souls, ever
That they never
May forsake Thee,
But by faith their refuge make Thee.

Without Thine aid we go astray:
O lead us on the narrow way,
With Thine own counsel guide us.
Give steadfastness, and grant that we
May ever faithful prove to Thee,
Whatever may betide us.
Lord, now
Heal Thou
All hearts broken,
And give token
Thou art near us,
Whom we trust to light and cheer us.

Thou mighty rock, Thou source of life,
Let Thy dear Word, mid doubt and strife,
Be so within us burning,
That we be faithful unto death
In holy love and steadfast faith,
From Thee all wisdom learning.
Lead us,
Keep us
From offences;
Guide our senses,
Mind, and spirit,
Till we, heavenly life inherit.
