Lets talk about dickering and auctions.
Most of us as a kids traded toys and comics with our friends. Trading goods has been in action since the evolution of man and why not talk about it. This topic in modern world is kind of funny because its not really talked about.
While trading and selling good has dramatically changed over the past twenty years with going from a newspaper and radio ads to pretty much all digital market places. The internet boom and eBay and craigslist really changed the way we collectively sell and trade good. The new has allowed for both seller and consumers to work together direct in the new digital world. The alternative that Ebay and other sites offer is the world of Auctions. This world is a blast to play in for several reasons most notable would be saving money, but this also allows for you to get items that you may not be able to get. Items that maybe haven't been produced in a while or maybe there's a short fall of the product you want. The other hand is maybe you want to auction off some of your old Pokemon card ? or comics? The options at this time are unlimited. There are several option types and I would encourage everyone to check the fee's, time for pickup and delivery options before you BID. I have lost my ass on several deals because some of the information was unclear. Also remember local digital auctions are generally limited to viewing a crappy picture online, so be careful before you spend your life savings on that box of comics to find out its worth $5 buck!!!
Recently I was lucky enough to purchase a box of comics for $80 bucks and had some great finds in it to include Spawn, wildcats, the Pitt and other number 1# comics and a Superman 505 Set that was autographed with the certificate of authenticity.
LET ME WARN YOU this doesn't always happen, that $80 dollar box of comics would have been worth $5 bucks !! Be Careful if you go this way.
The great part about Auctions and Bartering is if you need something or have a hobby its an incredible way to supplement this without breaking the bank!
