Antler shed collection regulations have been in effect in Gunnison County and near Eagle for about 10 years. Starting on March 2nd, Colorado Parks & Wildlife is expanding the rules to all public lands west of I-25.
The goal is to allow deer and elk to conserve the remaining food stores during the harsh late winter months and, hopefully, increase their chances of survival.
