A roadless area in Western Gunnison County may see the construction of roads for methane venting and further coal exploration and development.

He explains why allowing temporary roads was originally part of the negotiations at the table when the Roadless Rule was created. He would also like to see methane captured and used instead of vented into the atmosphere.
