Four Gunnison County candidates for public office faced an auditorium of citizens in Crested Butte on October 21. John Gallowich and Mark Mykol, both running for Sheriff, and Roland Mason and Bob Schutt, county commissioner candidates, answered questions and explained both their platforms and their backgrounds. Both seemed of equal interest to the crowd. Questions ranged from staffing problems at the sheriff's office to affordable housing and private property rights.
The forum was co-presented by KBUT and the Crested Butte News.
