SPC Alun Howells is fallen hero from Gunnison. Before that, he was a son, a friend, a mentor, and a soldier. Alun died in combat in Baghdad in 2007.
The public is invited to join in a ceremony to honor Alun's service at I-O-O-F Park in downtown Gunnison on July 4th at 8:45 AM.
