Last year, 158 unique cutthroat trout were rescued from Hayden Creek after the Hayden Pass Wildfire. Today, biologists at the Roaring Judy Fish Hatchery are trying to spawn them so as to preserve a unique genetic line, and a link to Colorado's fishing history.
