From the luscious arrangements of disco to perfectly rhythmic melodic mixes of house, DJ/ Producer Jacqui Cunningham aka Cunningpants has established themselves as one of Sydney’s most versatile DJs since taking hold of the decks in 2008.
In the beginning years of their budding DJ career, Cunningpants launched the notorious Sydney brands “GiRLTHING” and “Birdcage”, which are currently two of the biggest LGBTIQA+ collectives in Australia, regularly touring throughout every major city in the country.
Cunningpants is a sure-fire floor-filler, with a style perfectly matched to suit any dance floor. This might explain why they have featured on TEDx, triple j’s Friday Arvo Mix, Triple J’s House Party, FBi Radio, JOY FM in Melbourne as well as being asked to appear on SOHO radio in London.
Cunningpants has managed to hold down residences and appearances at a multitude of iconic venues and festivals in Australia + internationally. Some of which include; Future Music Festival, Lost Paradise Festival, Laneway Festival, The official Mardi Gras Party and Melbourne’s infamous Revolver. On top of all that, Cunningpants has been internationally booked throughout London, Indonesia, Singapore, Cyprus, Mexico and most recently the “Yo Sissy” festival in Berlin and “Circuit Festival” in Barcelona.
