Abdul Karim Hanif and Rania Saadi welcome to the studios Ashay Bhave, a 21-year-old who makes shoes using fabric derived entirely from waste plastic bags. Each pair of sneakers uses a total of 15 plastic bags and 22 bottles.
He is running a well-known sustainable brand. He has named it Thaely, a Hindi word for plastic bags.
The co-hosts also talk to the innovator about recently winning the Sharjah Chamber's Award for Innovators, and what his future plans are after achieving this milestone.
