Okay, I recently came accrues a pst that said: “be smart, no one cares about your efforts, only the results.”- TRIGGER!
I suppose it’s true most people only reword results. Luckily God awards effort regardless of results. (you can't always control that ether no matter what people say. You can only control your efforts. Results come from Allah). And I feel like internally, we need to value efforts too and so we don't just base our success or worth on results.
Notice how in The Quran God uses the word 'effort/سعي' a lot?
أَنْ لَيْسَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَى ﴿۳۹) وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُ سَوْفَ يرى
"And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for. And that his striving shall soon be seen-"
He used the word "سعي/effort" and not "إالا ما أنجز/ What he accomplished".
